Amiga Users of the Heartland in Omaha

Thursday Apr 11, 2002 - AUoH Club Meeting, 7:00-9:00pm, New Cassel Retirement Center, 900 North 90th Street.

New Agenda!! After many discussions, we've all come to the conclusion that our beloved Amiga is not likely to make a recognizable return. So... we've decided to start covering more non-Amiga topics (aka Windows!) on about half the meetings, particularly when the weather is bad (laptops are SO easy to transport).

For Tonight - Sue and I are going to try to get that ICS(?) networking to work with two laptops (really cheap router), along with general network Q&A. If that's not enough, my Nephew Owen has volunteered (railroaded maybe???) to give a quick review of using a Palm Pilot and the built in features. Should be fun! Next month we're going to dive a little deeper into Networking, primarily covering Cox.net!

THE USUSAL - If you have any new ideas for our links page, bring or email your Links suggestions. I know we're way behind in this area of the Web Site - all we need is to give the web master a swift kick in the Arse to get this in gear! As usual, we will also dabble wherever the mind/conversation takes us! (YES - our motto!)

Monday May 27, 2001 - AUoH Exec Meeting, 6:45-~8:30pm, Perkins on the SouthEast corner of 72nd & Grover. Everyone is invited. NOTE - We may be rescheduling this meeting!

*Note - Exec meetings are on the LAST Monday, not the 4th Monday where a victim of his own written mistake would end up sitting at Village Inn all by himself on a month that has 5 Mondays (who would be so foolish...? A word to the wise!).
